Meadowlark Elementary oversees approximately XXX annually from School Land Trust funds for the benefit of students. Each year we work with our SCC to review student achievement data, review how our current plan is meeting the needs of students, and then plan how funds should be spend for the following year. Reading: Students scoring proficient as measured by end of level state ELA tests for grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 in May of 2021 will increase at least 10% from May of 2020. 2. At least 70% of students in grades K through 3 will demonstrate typical or better than typical growth as measured by DIBELS Pathways of Progress.
Behavior: Improve student engagement and on task behavior in school related activities.
Baseline RISE ELA 3, 4, 5, & 6 in May 2020
1.Hire a 1/2 time behavior 1/2 time reading interventionist to work with students and teachers to address a) behaviors interfering with student engagement and b) reading fluency and comprehension.
2.The interventionist will a) lead the PBIS team for the school, b) train teachers on Tier 1 behavior strategies, c) help teachers implement Tier 2 behavior strategies for 15% of students not served with Tier 1 strategies, d) gather data behavior data for use in PLC and other school learning meetings, e) coordinate all reading interventions in the school, f) help teachers implement the new Foundations intervention strategy, and g) work with the Literacy Specialist to ensure all students reach their Pathways to Progress goals.

will be proficient in ELA. 80% of students in grades K – 2 will meet their Pathways to Progress goal.
80% of students receiving intervention services will meet their Pathway goals.
Students will be offered physical fitness activities or classes at least twice a week.
